NZSL Champion Award

Recognises the hard work of a person who is committed and passionate about protecting, promoting and keeping NZSL successfully.

Maori Signs Champion Award

Recognises the hard work of a person who, through committed and passionate with promoting the progress of Maori signs within New Zealand Sign Language.

NZSL Accessible Award

Recognises a NZ business or organisation that can show their commitment to NZSL and support of Deaf workers/individuals.

Public Service Award

Recognises a service provider that has been very helpful to Deaf New Zealanders and can show a strong commitment to the Deaf community.

NZSL in Schools Award

Recognises a pre-school or school that can show their commitment to NZSL by promoting NZSL within their curriculum.

NZSL Teaching Award

Recognises the efforts of a teacher who has made a great contribution to teaching New Zealand Sign Language to their Deaf and/or hearing students

Interpreter of the Year Award

Recognises the best efforts of a registered* NZSL Interpreter who has shown passion, dedication and professionalism in the area of interpreting.
